Curious if anyone has insight on ankle braces they have used that would work well for trail running. Mostly training but possibly racing in something up to 100 miles. I seem to occasionally role my ankles running single track. Roles my left one twice just a few weeks before a race then again while racing the Austin Rattler. |

I used them briefly (when I first started running trails about ten years ago) but also made a point of using a Bosu Ball when doing all my weight workouts. Also stood on one leg at other times when training. Didn’t take long (maybe 2-3 months) and I have never rolled an ankle again. Most ankle braces are pretty uncomfortable. I used ankle braces initially for volleyball and probably relied on them too much. FWIW.
