Howdy Runners. I am new to the website and I am training for the Bandera 100K. I didn't know if anyone had run this race before. If so, I am looking for some insight into the trail and how the race progressed for them. Very nervous about the race since it's my first 100K. I am an Ironman finisher, but am now getting into the ultra running life. Looking forward to running, still nervous. |

It's a neat race. Very well organized...they'll take good care of you. Very pretty country. Lots of climbing and descent, fair amount of technical stuff but some runnable sections, too. You know from the website it's two laps. In fact, the website is remarkably descriptive with lots of pictures...not too much I can add. It's rocky. Watch your step. Go out slow and enjoy the day (and evening.) It's one of the classic, fun, races. |
