Two questions:
Are the Rocky Mountain high country concerns of thunderstorms an issue in late September early October? (there are not many thunderstorms in my part of Alaska so not something I'm too familiar with)
What are some good link ups to run in Rocky Mountain National Park for a guy with only one car and no shuttle - looking at runs 15 to 25 miles in length or more? (or 3 to 5 hours out) - good climbs - pretty views.
I've never been to CO but am very familiar with mountain running. Just trying to get some ideas on safety and good runs. All info is appreciated. Thanks.
