"Ultra Running Guy" is a comic strip for Ultra Runners. The hero of the comic strip is "URG"(Ultra Running Guy). You will notice that URG has evolved quite a bit since my early sketches and I hope you'll enjoy a laugh or two with him when you come to visit. You may also want to enter URG's contest called "Top Ten Signs You Are Training (TOO) HARD for Your Next Ultra". The winner will get his or her own character in an upcoming Ultra Running Guy Episode plus bragging rights:) Here is the link. http://www.UltraRunningGuy.com Thanks, EJ

Thanks ;-) Yeah, I've interviewed a few people for the magazine I write for, but she was really cool. Very down to earth, funny and despite all she's achieved she still isn't any different than who she was before she got into the sport. Next month we'll find out if she can make it three in a row! Keep up your good work... and I don't mind you stealing my image briefly if you wanted to use it for a sketch! I'd happily stick it up on my site J. ____________________ JAMES STYLER (p.f.t), (b.b) Columnist for V02 MAX magazine Interview with 2 x Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington here: http://www.chrissiewellington.org/media/ironwoman-extraordinaire/TEL: 027 5534266 WEB: www.stylerhealth.com

Tell him it's beautiful over here and another benefit is that our water goes down the plug hole the other way. Doesn't get better than that really J. ____________________ JAMES STYLER (p.f.t), (b.b) Columnist for V02 MAX magazine Interview with 2 x Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington here: http://www.chrissiewellington.org/media/ironwoman-extraordinaire/TEL: 027 5534266 WEB: www.stylerhealth.com |

Thought of a line while out on my long run this morning, made me chuckle... "Honey, I'm just heading out for a quick 6 miles. I'll be back in an hour and a half..." ____________________ JAMES STYLER (p.f.t), (b.b) Columnist for V02 MAX magazine Interview with 2 x Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington here: http://www.chrissiewellington.org/media/ironwoman-extraordinaire/TEL: 027 5534266 WEB: www.stylerhealth.com |

Friend: "Hey URG, you want to go out for dinner tonight?" URG: "Sorry, I've got to run tonight." Friend: "How about breakfast then?" URG: "Sorry, I'll still be running!" ____________________ JAMES STYLER (p.f.t), (b.b) Columnist for V02 MAX magazine Interview with 2 x Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington here: http://www.chrissiewellington.org/media/ironwoman-extraordinaire/TEL: 027 5534266 WEB: www.stylerhealth.com

You see once you get started it is hard to stop. I will add that to my "Sent in By You" files and hopefully you will see it soon on the site or if you want to try your hand at drawing it that would be fine also my email is [email protected] . OK for the first one "Honey, I'm just heading out for a quick 6 miles. I'll be back in an hour and a half..." How about we exagerate the punch line... How about "Honey, I'm just heading out for a quick one. I'll be back in an hour and a half...or two...or 3...Don't wait up! |
