I will be hiking one of the 14'ers in Colorado this summer. Never done anything like this before, so I need some advice. My buddy that lives there and hikes these hills quite often told me to get a pair of trail runners. Any suggestions? Don't eant to invest a lot of money into them, but don't eant to Wal Mart it either. Thanks in advance.

Check the likes of steapandcheap.com, backcountry.com, mgear.com, and campmor.com. There are others that offer regular deals on shoes too. There are actually too many to list. I just listed ones that I have had success with in consideration to how picky my feet are. |
