Hi,
I live in north Florida and would like to set my sights on a southeastern 50K to work towards. This will be my first one. I'd like to pick a really scenic run with some altitude...something to keep me wanting more. Any suggestions? I appreciate any advice anyone has!
Thanks, Jared |

I did the Terrapin Mtn 50k in Sedalia Virgina this year, it was my first and was a REALLY great race, extremely scenic. Lots of single track and some really good technical trails as well. Creek crossings, climbing over rocks and large boulders, about 99% trail also. I'm doing it again next year.
hope this helps. Chris |

I will be doing the Mount Mitchell Challenge this year. Will be my first time competing but I was a cheerleader last year for a friend - fantastic views. Dress warm!
happy trails :) |
