Leadville - Heavy Half - shoes?

Anybody run this half marathon? What shoes did you wear? Never seen the course, and I'm wondering how rocky and technical it is. I've been training in some minimal shoes but I'm new to trail races and concerned that I could use some more padding for a run like this.
