I am looking to run my first 100 miler next year and would like to know what some of your suggestions are. I live out west and would prefer something around CA, NV, AZ or UT but I am open. This year I ran a 100K with 10,000 feet of elevation so what do you think I should go for next? |

Good for you for going 100. I originally didn't answer because I have never done 100. I am in Utah, and there are a few I am vaguely familiar with. There is the Wasatch 100 (my brother-in-law ran it last year), The Bear 100, and the Bryce 100. The last one would be a little closer to you, it is at Bryce Canyon, in southern Utah.
