February is not looking good for the board this year. I'm planning to run Twin Peaks next year. This way I can at least run in nice weather. Of course by me not running Rocky in 08, the weather will be warm. Great report despite the DNF. |

you did do really well on your 80 miles, though. you'll enjoy twin peaks. jessica deline (twin peaks rd) is putting on a 100 in december, at the same location... she's talking about a 48-hr cutoff, and 31,000+ elevation gain... i'm no expert, but those numbers don't seem easy! when i feel ready (if there's such thing) for a 100 the rr100 is amongst my races of choice. (rocky raccoon, umstead, javelina jundred, lean horse). |
