Training for first 50 and triathlon

I am looking for a change in my endurance sporting and am considering a 50 mile ultra in late May.

Does anyone here combine swimming and cycling with their ultra running training? If so what does your training look like?

I have been triathloning (?) long before ultra-ing and so I naturally add my tri workouts into my ultra training. I mainly use them as recovery days and or times when I just need a break from the road. I swim once I week for about an hour - great full body workout. I do some spin classes because they're fun and it forces me to do some speed work which I wouldn't naturally find myself doing. Cycling is also a great warm up AND a fantastic way to plan routes for your next long run!
